Over consumption is a hell of a lot easier to do than avoid. Personally, after a night spent getting sick over the toilet, I always tell myself I'll never drink and smoke again. And every time I'm lying.
To err is human, after all.
When you're caught up in the dazzling adrenaline of a night out, it's easy to want to finish off with a bang---which is often more than you can take. Unfortunately, you feel it most the next morning.
There is no worse hangover than that of a weed and liquor two-for-one combo. And often, it's not so fun in the moment, either.
If you've never been crossed before, you might not be prepared for the danger of the effects. Typically, your mind slows down rapidly or skips beats; your vision blurs, and your hearing makes a conversation sound like it's happening underwater.
Being unaware of your surroundings in an unfamiliar place is frightening at the best of times, and experiencing the occasional anxieties of pot with the crappy motor skills of alcohol might make you freak. Think of it as double the vulnerability.
And even if you are somewhere safe, it still kinda just sucks. It's nigh on impossible to hold any sort of conversation when every thread of thought is slipping out of your hands, and things like dancing and making memories are suddenly too much of an effort. Besides, it's important to note that neither being drunk or high is exactly healthy for you---so combining the two is going to take a greater bad toll.
One way to cross the two, is by having diffrent people on diffrent things.
